FAQ

Terms & conditions.

Can I collect and set up myself?

The terms of our insurance require us to deliver and set up the letters. The good news is we are experts and positioning and locating our letters at your venue for the perfect look. As such for locations where transport a fee may be charged in addition to standard hire fees. Contact us to discuss. View our services page for more information on hire fees or contact us.

How much does hire and delivery cost?

Please visit our services page for information on hire fees.

Statewide delivery is available. Please contact us for a quote for delivery fees for events outside of Launceston. Please note, a minimum rental amount of $1000 plus delivery fees applies to events outside of Launceston.

Can the letters be used outdoors?

We simply love seeing our letters used at Tasmania’s stunningly beautiful outdoor locations. However, when making a booking we do require an alternative (indoor) setting be provided to avoid dissapointment in case of inclement weather or forcasted rain or high winds.

How long can I hire the letters for?

Our standard hire period and pricing is based on a 24-hour hire period (1-day). Contact us if you wish to hire letters for longer.

Many venues will want us to drop your letters off and pick them up outside of peak times. If your letters do need to stay in place for longer because we have arranged with your venue to pick them up at a more convenient time we won’t charge you for this.

Do you have a refund policy?

Deposits are non-refundable.

If bookings are cancelled 60 days or more prior to your event, the full amount minus the 30% deposit will be refunded.

If full amounts have been paid and bookings are cancelled or item quantities are reduced less than 60 days before the event date, half the amount paid, minus the deposit will be refunded.

If a booking is cancelled or item quantities are reduced 30 days or less prior to the event, no refund will be given.

What power source is required?

Each word or group of letters requires a 240v power point (cannot be shared with other event equipment).

We have a range of indoor and outdoor extension leads in black or white that we supply for no extra fee as part of hire and delivery.

Please advise when booking if you will require power cords to cross areas where people walk, or over 10 meters, or outdoors, so that we can plan for your event. In this case we may advise that further costs are chargeable.

What if an item is damaged or destroyed?

Once our letters are at your venue or under your control you are responsible for the safe operation of the letters of them and ensuring that they are not damaged or destroyed during your event.
